Niger Delta

Sixteen plates in the Tide Meridian design language — many tongues, one water. From Delta State to Rivers State: Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri, Izon, Nembe, Ogbia, Kalabari, Okrika, Ibani, Ogoni, Ekpeye, Ogba, Etche, Abua, Engenni and Obolo. Each tee carries a people of the Delta on the front and Plate 0, the water map, on the back: the river arriving, the braid of creeks, sixteen peoples bound by water, the sea at the mouth. Black shirts carry the bone-and-teal plates; cream shirts carry the deep-teal plates.
